Philosophy workshop
This year we will be putting philosophy to the test in terms of our rules of conduct and the thorniest issues facing our societies. Often all these questions are posed as a confrontation between two great ideological blocs (on my left the good progressives and on my right the horrible conservatives, unless it's the other way round). We are betting that morality can be universal (otherwise it is not moral) and that reason can help to untangle the threads where our thinking has become entangled. As usual, we'll confine ourselves to introducing the subject, and the discussion will be free!
