Les Marteaux de Mailley

The aim of this association is the preservation, reopening, maintenance and operation of an old forge located at 3 grande rue in Mailley and Chazelot. It promotes everything related to the forge and the trades of fire, the cutlery and ironwork, from the initiation to the forge, training ... and until the finishing of objects made including all other necessary trades, the association the Hammers of Mailley is an association of popular education, it also aims to put into service old village forges at the request of their owners, realization of collective work sites with the participation of members and other associations.
The association is active in Mailley-et-Chazelot and Ferrières-Lès-Scey. It moves on certain animations like the artisanal days. Recently the association was the subject of a video report broadcast on France 3.
