Denis Pérez's works feature the traces, cracks and signs in which his sculptures and engravings come to life, like a skin. The relationship between gesture and material gives concrete expression to the development of the concepts of embodying in the "doing" and making sensitive. The relationship between Man and Nature is reflected in his work, which addresses the memory of the living. We are not looking at an object that is external to us, but at a form in which our feelings find a motif, a dynamic. Just as nature needs light to live and grow, sculpture develops in space. The space it occupies is not ordinary, it becomes a space of meaning.
