Kimaro Farmhouse

We have luxurious safari tents available on our estate. These elegant tents are framed in wood, making them look as good as they did in the distant colonial past. Each safari tent is set up on an attractive part of our meadow. So you have optimum space with plenty of privacy. The number of tents is very limited, so you benefit from a very large private pitch.

From the tent, you have a magnificent view of the rolling Burgundy landscape and can enjoy rural life in a luxurious way. You realise the richness of this unusual holiday, at the natural pace of outdoor life.

Each tent is very spacious, cosy and decorated with African accents. Each tent can sleep up to 6 people: it has a twin bed, an alcove and a bunk bed. Sleeping in the tent is an extraordinary experience and you can hear the sounds of a rich animal world, such as frogs, cicadas and birds, including the characteristic call of the tawny owl, which is a regular visitor to Kimaro Farmhouse.

The luxury safari tent has a rustic kitchen with a gas cooker and fridge-freezer. Cups, glasses, saucepans and cutlery are all provided. Electricity is available in the tent.

A large table with comfortable chairs invites you to a delicious meal! Relax with a good book in the comfortable lounge or in the swing on the tent porch. The tent comes with a separate toilet. The romantic bath invites you to relax.

Kimaro Farmhouse is located in the middle of meadows. In the morning you will be greeted by our 'neighbours': the Charolais cows, famous in Burgundy.
From our farmhouse, a dirt track leads you to the extensive woods. Ideal for long walks or mountain bike rides.
A place far removed from the stresses and strains of everyday life! Feel the calm take hold of you.
