Le Boat Migennes

Migennes is our closest base to Paris, offering three distinct routes to explore. Opting for the Canal de Bourgogne takes you through charming towns nestling in picturesque countryside, and is the least busy route in the region, offering an escape from the crowds. Head west along the delightful River Yonne to reach the majestic cathedral of Sens after around 8 hours' cruising. Heading south, you'll discover even more, following the Canal du Nivernais. Auxerre, around 5 hours' sailing from Migennes, stands out as a city of art and history, home to impressive cathedrals that contrast perfectly with the villages overlooking this stretch of canal.
