This accommodation is committed to the local Puisaye-Forterre accommodation charter for sustainable and responsible tourism. Well done and thank you! This charter is part of an approach to progress that recognises the value of committed accommodation through 3 levels of eligibility: 1 leaf, 2 leaves, 3 leaves. The standards comprise 28 compulsory criteria and 19 optional criteria. Minimum eligibility, 1 sheet, implies validation of 90% of the mandatory criteria verified on site during an inspection visit by the Tourist Office and/or the Puisaye-Forterre Community of Communes. The 4 objectives of this charter are: to raise awareness among our network of partners and, more broadly, among all accommodation providers in Puisaye-Forterre, and to encourage them to adopt an approach based on progress; to give visibility to the sustainable actions implemented in their structures; to federate a network of committed players; to raise awareness among their customers, because every gesture counts! This charter is intended to be a first step towards positioning volunteer accommodation providers as players in sustainable tourism, without claiming to replace the obtaining of recognised national or international ecological labels.
