Château de Mongazon

In the middle of a green nature, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests, the castle of Mongazon, a family house, welcomes you for a quiet stay, ideal to recharge your batteries and enjoy the natural, cultural and gastronomic discoveries of the Nièvre, in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region.

The castle dates from the end of the 18th century and was restored after being burnt down by the German army in August 1944. However, it rests on the foundations of a 15th century building of which the pigeon house in the park is one of the remains.
Passionate about history, we wanted to be able to offer our guests a true timeless stay with furniture and family heirlooms from different eras.

We have 4 spacious rooms with bathroom/WC. The capacity of the rooms is for two people, a baby bed can be provided.

We do not offer "table d'hôtes" meals but we can provide a cold meal and prepare picnic baskets on request.
