The history and evolution of the Priory of La Charité will be told to you through a visit of the Notre-Dame church, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a "major stop on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela", the remains of the Saint-Laurent church (Benedictine garden), the conventual buildings of the priory: the cloister, the chapter house decorated with contemporary stained glass windows by Christopher Wool, the 18th century rooms (the monks' refectory, the prior's company room), the courtyard of the Priory (former courtyard of the outbuildings), the courtyard of the castle where the former cellar of the monks is located, the former hostelries, the prior's dwelling and the new pilgrims' accommodation.
