Near the village of Brancion, in a meadow on the edge of the road (D14) of the hamlet of Pierre Levée stands a curious druidic stone nicknamed the menhir of Pierre Levée, dating back more than 4,000 years, weighing about five tons and 3.8 metres high. It was christianized, like many pagan symbols, a stone cross was placed on its top. It is said to have the virtue of protecting animals from disease.
