Isolated in the valley, the Saint-Blaise church was founded by Cluny on a Gallo-Roman site in the 11th century.
On the upper side, the buildings of the Carmel of Peace are by the architect J.L Sert, disciple of Le Corbusier. The rusticity of the raw concrete and the sober lines of the multi-storey buildings on the hillside blend in perfectly with the tranquility of the environment. The whole was built in 1971 during the transfer of the community founded in Chalon-sur-Saône in 1610. You can attend services and share the life, work and prayers of the community.
In the formerly fortified town of Mazille, beautiful rural houses and the former castle of the monks of Cluny whose vaulted chapel overlooks the Cluny valley. Today it is a farm.
