Saint-Germain church was built at the end of the 15th century on the ruins of a 12th century building – of which the entrance gate and nave pillars still remain. Inside you will discover a rare treasure: murals dating back to around 1500 CE. “Le dict des trois morts et des trois vifs” (The three dead and three living), a common theme in Puisaye, followed by the vast Danse Macabre (The Dance of Death), one of six such works in France, which measures nearly 25 metres.
