The castle of Montigny-sur-Aube (MH) is a place not to be missed in the Châtillonnais region, a short distance from the National Forest Park, which combines heritage, culture with arboriculture and gastronomy. The castle and its chapel, a jewel of the Renaissance, are surrounded by a moat that has been restored to its original state. It stands in the middle of a picturesque park dating from the early 19th century. The audioguide, given to visitors on arrival, allows them to discover at their own pace all the architectural riches of this place, with anecdotes that make for a lively and dynamic visit. The 19th-century orchards and gardens, like the park and its orangery, are classified as "Jardins Remarquables de France". An exceptional collection of fruit varieties (nearly 350) in espaliers as well as vegetable and aromatic varieties offer an extraordinary spectacle where each tree, thanks to the audio guide, tells you its historical and gustatory particularities. An exceptional place for an unforgettable experience with the Vignobles & Découvertes label.
