The ecclesiastical treasures from Saint-Etienne Cathedral, Auxerre, have been dispersed three times over the course of history ; however, they will be returning to, and exhibited in, the vast chapter house shortly. However, you can admire the coloured enamels from Limoges, carved ivory, statuettes and other holy vases, already on display. High point of the visit: The tomb by Luca Penni, painted on slate and the manuscript missal from the archbishop of Sens.
