The Poterie de la Bâtisse, founded in the 18th century, helps to keep ancient skills and know-how alive. In a 1930s workshop, in the heart of the Puysaie region – a region well known for its pottery tradition - ancient techniques are brought back to life: kneading, turning, glazing etc. You can’t miss the imposing horizontal kiln, dating back to 1787, which used to fire up to 5,000 pieces!
