Opened in 1993 in Saint-Loup-des-Bois (58), our museum has a collection of more than 300 agricultural machines, all in working order. As a guardian of rural life, it also presents the old woodworking trades that once populated our villages. A discovery of 3,600 m² divided into 3 sections.
Note the rarity of certain machines and the quality of restoration of these pieces.
Themes covered: Agriculture before mechanisation, The All Tractor, Harvest time, Combines, Woodworking.
QR codes with additional information and translations are available for each machine in the tractor and harvester building, other QR codes will be installed in the other buildings during 2023.
A real outdoor museum, a conservatory orchard presents more than 50 old varieties of fruit trees. A bridge between yesterday, today and tomorrow, it teaches children and adults alike about the different cycles of nature while raising awareness of the need to preserve our environment.
The Saint-Loup Museum has set up a museographic and environmental improvement plan for 2022
Melliferous hedges have been planted between the families of farming implements, complete with educational cards.

It's time to get back to the pleasure of going out and cultivating in complete safety! The collections tracing the history of agricultural machinery are spread over three buildings with almost 3,600 square metres of exhibition space and offer you a path of discovery. In addition to these major collections in Europe, there is also an astonishing and impressive collection of irons as well as a collection dedicated to the woodworking trades (clog makers, coopers, cartwrights, etc.). A smooth flow of visits, hydroalcoholic gel at the entrance to the museum, everything is implemented by our association to ensure a cultural journey in complete safety. And, for a breath of fresh air, don't forget to visit our conservatory orchard with its 50 ancient species of fruit trees.
