All the charm of a private collection, exhibited in the beautiful 17th century Lantin Hotel, the family home of Jeanne and her brother Maurice Magnin, enlightened art lovers. The combination of paintings offering a vast panorama of foreign schools (Flanders, Holland, Italy, Great Britain...) and French schools from the 16th to the 19th century, sculptures, furniture and objets d'art, enhances the intimate character of this very special museum created in 1938, which became a national museum in 1947.
