At the Musée d’Art Sacrée you can learn about religious practices from the 12th century onwards. The museum is housed in the church belonging to the Monastère des Bernardines which dates back to the late 17th century. On display, you’ll find a collection of exceptionally well preserved objects: objects of worship, sculptures, paintings, textiles, gold and silverware. You’ll also find out about the daily lives of female communities such as the Carmelite nuns.
