Château de Digoine
The Château de Digoine, a historic monument furnished in the 18th century, is situated in the heart of a vast 35-hectare estate. It is a witness to our past and present heritage, which we take pleasure in helping you discover on a daily basis. The gardens, classified as a "Remarkable Garden", are open to the public. The Italian-style theatre dating from 1842, restored in 2022, has welcomed Jacques Offenbach and Sarah Bernhardt.
The Château de Digoine is also an emblematic filming location for the TV programme "Secrets d'Histoire", presented by Stéphane Bern, created and still produced by the owner of the site, Mr Jean-Louis Rémilleux.

- From 01/07/2024 to 31/08/2024: open from 10am to 7pm; guided tours of the château every hour from 10.30am to 5.30pm (last departure) (except at 1.30pm).
- From 01/09/2024 to 30/09/2024: open from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm; guided tours of the château at 10.30am, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

- Exceptional opening on 07 and 08/12/2024 for the Christmas at the Château event from 10am to 7pm; illuminations, Christmas market, free tours of the château, gardens and theatre, horse-drawn carriage rides, presence of Father Christmas, workshops for children.
Entire site closed from 01/01/2024 to 01/04/2024, 01/11/2024 to 06/12/2024 and 09/12/2024 to 31/12/2024.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 02 May to 20 June inclusive (except Ascension Day) are reserved for schools. The public is welcome from 4pm on these days (guided tours are only possible at 4.30pm).
- Base rate - full rate adult (guided tour of the castle, theatre and gardens) : 12€
- Youth Rate (10€ guided tour of castle, theatre and free gardens) : 10€
- Rate for unemployed persons (10€ guided tour of the castle, theatre and free gardens on presentation of a receipt) : 10€
- Student's rate (10€ guided tour of the castle, theatre and free gardens on presentation of a receipt) : 10€
- Child rate (5€ guided tour of castle, theatre and free gardens) : 5€
- Special rate (5 guided tour of the castle, theatre and free gardens on presentation of proof) : 5€
- Gratuities (Children under 7 years of age are free of charge)
