21360 - ECUTIGNY
Built on a gallo-roman site, dominating the valley, Ecutigny castle has retained traces from the XII century. As for the dry moats and the stairs of the north-eastern tower, they date back to the XV century. Later, in the XVII century, the main building was refitted with flats. This main building was rebuilt above the barrel vault basement. A treat for architecture buffs!
