Come and try your hand at caving during an exceptional outing organised as part of the Journées nationales de la céléologie et du canyonisme (national caving and canyoning days), supervised by the Spéléo club de Dijon.
The outing will take visitors down to the bottom of the Creux Percé abyss, a geological heritage site and emblematic cave in the Côte d'Or.
The Creux Percé is an inverted cone-shaped sinkhole around 60m deep, with a circumference ranging from 35m to 25m at the surface. This chasm is best known to speleologists. Its exploration and that of its lateral networks began in the 19th century. For a long time, the area was a natural icebox, with sub-zero temperatures at the bottom, even in summer.
