Granite site at the gateway to the Morvan. Climbing is practised here in a bucolic setting, on sectors scattered around a very pretty national forest. However, the climbing potential is fairly limited, with around forty equipped routes to date. The level of the routes at Brisecou is fairly affordable. The climbing is often short and not always very homogeneous. The climbing is often interspersed with ledges. The 'Dalle des Celtes' sector is ideal for an introduction to adventure climbing. The granite lends itself well to stoppers. Abseiling from the top is possible (remember to bring a 2 x 50m double rope). Brisecou isn't the place to climb for big performances, but rather to enjoy the pleasant setting and the serenity of the place.
