This garden lives up to its name by inviting you to stroll and contemplate. The rose garden, planted with old varieties with small flowers, offers a lovely view of the Porte du Croux.
Walking along the ramparts that once encircled the town to defend it, you can see the Havre tower, near which a wall has been built to hold back the waters of the Passière, and the Saint Révérien tower, at the foot of which is the spring named after the evangelist.
Don't forget to admire the majestic sequoia tree in the alleyway leading to the Goguin tower (named after its former owner) and finally, you'll catch a glimpse of the royal river, the Loire!
You can get to the garden either by passing under the Porte du Croux, or by taking the Quai des Mariniers, which runs alongside the Loire. From here, you can see the entrance to the garden.
A little tip: you can enter the Musée de la Faïence by taking the existing passageway at the heart of the ramparts.
