Poste électrique de Venarey-les-laumes

The Venarey-Les Laumes substation dates back to 1926.

In France, electricity has not always been managed by a single company. Before 1946, the date of nationalisation, electricity was distributed by several companies. This substation was managed by EAA: Energie Electrique de l'Auxois. It linked the lines of the Grosne electricity company to the network of the Dijon electricity company.

It is still in operation today.
