An afternoon guide through the space and history of Cuy: heritage, park, Charolais cattle, exhibition and tasting
Cuy is a classic example of the French countryside which has always been dominated by agriculture.
Today, Cuy has 11 inhabitants; in 1900, 74 and in total more than 1816 for seven centuries. They speak to us through time.
All the surrounding area was the domain of the lords of Cuy, who lived for a long time in the fortified house, whose keep dates from the beginning of the 14th century.
This renowned farm, close by, is a Charolais cattle farm, which has been crowned champion of France several times. The farm is diversifying with the sale of meat in boxes and processed products.
Terrines, rillettes and other products from the farm and, at the end, a friendly drink in a convivial atmosphere.
