The Obédiencerie, a former monastery whose first foundations in the 9th century saw the birth of the first Chablis wines, is listed as a Historic Monument and houses the cellars where the Domaine Laroche's first and great Chablis wines are aged. By appointment, it is possible to visit these historic cellars, in which a magnificent press dating from the 13th century rests, and to discover the range of Domaine Laroche wines.
