The Nièvre has two high quality natural sites for regular climbing
Les Roches du Morvan : on granite routes from 10 to 30 m high, a choice of cliffs for beginners and experienced climbers around Dun-les-Places and Lormes. The Rocher du Chien is one of them.
It stands out with its original rock structure
In spite of its 2 needles, the climbing is pleasant, accessible and will give you an unobstructed view on the beautiful landscapes of Morvan.
The little plus : Thanks to a system of sound detection of the holds during the approach, visually impaired people will still be able to practice "no eyes climbing" and climb the Rocher du Chien. The bracelets are to be collected at the Maison du Tourisme in Saint-Brisson.
