In 1975, during earthworks, the church of Saint Laurent was discovered. Built at the same time as Notre-Dame, it was used to worship the dead. Burnt down in 1559 and crumbling under dilapidation, it was demolished in the 17th century, filled in and replaced by vegetable gardens, then forgotten until today. The Benedictine garden is today a successful example of architecture that uses the present to enhance the past
