This kneeling wash-house is located in a peaceful spot close to the Guye. Built entirely in the open air at the beginning of the 19th century. The Quart Bourdon fountain-washhouse is certainly one of the oldest, appearing on the 1847 land register.
The fountain-washhouse comprises a well, a canal with a drinking trough and the washhouse itself.
As the kneeling position was difficult, it was abandoned in favour of more convenient wash-houses, and was mainly used to water livestock.
