By the Dijon Burgundy Orchestra.
Proposed by the Communauté de Communes du Mirebellois et Fontenois.
This show is part of the Arts&Scènes season of the Departmental Council of Côte-d'Or.
Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti and tutti quanti! The show will feature the names in -i of these great maestros of 19th century Italian opera. "A Night at the Opera" presents them far from the gilded walls of La Scala in Milan to appear in a small format version as close as possible to the audience.
Ten musicians will accompany the arias, in turn virtuoso or passionate, of the two singers. From La Traviata to La Bohème, you will plunge into the worlds of these lyrical masterpieces, so many of whose arias have been performed in a variety of contexts and thus echo everyone's aural memories.
The Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne pursues an artistic dynamic oriented towards excellence in the performance of the symphonic repertoire, from the classical period to the present day. An ensemble associated with the Dijon Opera, the ODB is present on stage and in the pit of the Auditorium where it accompanies daring productions and renowned soloists under the direction of renowned conductors.
