The streets have picturesque medieval names: rue Pavé d'Andouilles, rue du Moulin à Cheval and Place du Pilori. Nestling in a valley, the old town is built on a slope. The southern ambience of the pretty site of the Fontaine des Manants and its promenade, the charming wash-house and the old houses are revealed as you stroll along. From the Romanesque bell tower of the church, the view plunges over the town and its sea of sloping roofs.
