The Château d'Arcelot is the first neoclassical building in Burgundy (1761 to 1764). Fully furnished, the Château d'Arcelot allows you to discover the Grand Salon which, according to the historian Courtépée (1775), was the "most beautiful salon known in Burgundy". You will also be able to visit a dozen rooms, including the "Tsar's Room" and its 18th century furniture, as well as the 45-hectare landscape park (with a pond, Chinese pavilion, animals, etc.) created around 1800. Today, this work is one of the only remaining landscape parks designed by the architect Jean-Marie Morel, who participated in the design of the park of the Malmaison castle, the home of Napoleon I's wife.
