What an unlikely meeting to start this 23rd edition of the Rencontres! Three centuries apart, Henry Purcell and The Beatles dialogue and invite each other like a so british musical bridge between the sound universe of the master of the English song of the 17th century and the sometimes psychedelic one of the mythical "Fab Four".
