Beekeeper in the Beaune region. Direct sales of local honeys.
Production of honey, pollen and propolis.
The hives are sedentary for the well-being of the bees; three quarters are located less than 15 km from Beaune, the others are in the Autun area.
I only work with my own stock, with local bees, and I don't look for better yields by playing on genetics by integrating hybrid strains or bee breeds from other regions.
The honeys produced are creamy spring, acacia, lime, flower, chestnut and buckwheat honeys, conditions permitting.
I organise an Open House on the Heritage Weekend in September.
Whenever I can at the start of the season, I organise tours of the honey house on request and visit schools to teach children about the importance of bees in maintaining biodiversity.
