The Brasserie Artisanale La Luxoise was founded in May 2019.
After making its first recipes using contract brewing, the brewery decided to invest in its own production equipment in early 2020.
Located in the Commune of Gemeaux, the Brewery benefits from very good quality water, which has enabled it to affirm its development philosophy in organic products.
The Brewery obtained its AB Bio certification on 2 April 2020, by the certifying body Ecocert, which has enabled it to embark on a commercial development strategy with all the players in the organic distribution sector.
Jean Michel Ferry, Artisan-Brewer, on the basis of a chemist's course, has developed a whole range of tasting beers. Today, Charles Ferry has joined the adventure, a true enthusiast of the science of brewing.
In spite of the health crisis, the brewery has undertaken a development that allows it to affirm its status as a local organic producer, with a current range of 14 certified beers.
Today, the Brewery has a number of major accounts, as it is referenced in supermarket chains such as Système U Bourgogne, Colruyt and Leclerc, as well as with organic players such as the Biocoop chain of shops, La Vie Claire, La Vie Saine and a good number of independent organic and non-organic shops and grocery shops.
The brewery also specialises in customised brewing for bars and restaurants.
The current production equipment allows the brewery to produce an annual volume of 1500 Hl, while preserving its status as a craft brewery since all the beers are brewed by hand.
