In the past, the fountain was a stopping place where people and animals could stop here to rest and quench their thirst. Today, it is a popular place to stop and enjoy a quiet moment by the water. In autumn, the late afternoon light reflected in the water provides a magical atmosphere.
The name "Bougers" is a deformation of "Bouviers", which means men leading oxen. The fountain was a stopping place where men and animals could quench their thirst and rest. You can admire the transparent waters of the 3 pools and the water lily flowers in season.
