The first floor is devoted to the geological presentation of the Saône Valley and its progressive occupation by man: objects coming in part from the dredging of the Saône and attesting to the importance of the river in local history. The Pouilly-sur-Saône ceramics factory and its stoneware production are also on display.
The second floor is devoted to the production of a boat builder's workshop. Models on a scale of 1/100th represent the last wooden flutes of Burgundy.
The third floor evokes the prosthesis industry, which has flourished in Seurre since the beginning of the 20th century.
