Since 1995, Interface has defined itself as a place for experimentation and support for artists.
Located in a ground-floor flat in a seventeenth-century building, Interface invites artists to think about and inhabit this unique space, often creating works specifically for the space. So visitors can experience art today in a very different setting from museums or brownfield sites that have been turned over to the arts, and talk to the people in charge of the space, "just like at home".
The association also publishes the journal horsd'oeuvre, in which it brings together young artists and critics.
