Walking between town and country

Leave the car park on rue Gaston Joliet, then walk along rue de la Maladière to arrive in front of the Roman Theatre.
Turn right and walk down to the edge of the lake. Walk around the lake and take the footpath to reach Rue du Parc des Drémeaux.
Cross the ferns to reach the footbridge path.
Follow the green lane along the route de Saulieu and admire the Porte d'Arroux.
Turn right and follow the ramparts and the Arroux river.
Head up to the town centre via Boulevard de l'Industrie and Rue des Eduens. Then take Boulevard des Résistants fusillés and walk along the ramparts. Continue up Boulevard Mac Mahon and admire the Ursulines tower. Take the Faubourg Saint-Blaise via Rue Victor Terret and access Couhard via the D120.
Go down Rue du Faubourg Saint-Pancrace and return to your starting point.
