A beautiful, hilly route that combines sporting pleasure with nature and heritage discovery, with magnificent 360° views.
Along the way, you'll come across the following in Marcy : St Sulpice church, with a porch topped by a semi-circular dome; a 16th-century half-timbered house, unique in the canton; the Tithe Barn, a former seigniorial property that perpetuates the memory of a privilege abolished during the Revolution (it was used as a storehouse for the proceeds of the harvest levies due to the seignior, the Count of Marcy); as well as the wash-house, the drinking trough and the bench for the dead, which is one of the few benches still preserved in the region.
When you arrive in Varzy, take the opportunity to discover its must-sees: the Ste Eugénie washhouse, the castle, the Dupin statue and the Grasset Museum located next to the town hall.
