Tour de Vézelay

A 135 km loop hike, inspired by ancient and modern pilgrimage routes.
The route passes mainly to the south of Vézelay: the valleys of the Yonne and Cure rivers, the hills in between, the wooded northwest of the Morvan Regional Nature Park. For many people, Vézelay is a spiritual place; the surroundings are beautiful and varied; and the place has a thousand-year tradition of pilgrimages.
The Tour offers you a great opportunity to go on a pilgrimage on your own, a great possibility to share your pilgrimage experiences with family and friends, or to organise an (international) pilgrimage meeting.
