Leaving Suin, follow the Chemin d'Hugues de Semur, a historic trail through pastoral landscapes and shady forests. Hugues de Semur was an important figure in the Middle Ages, famous for his influence on the Abbey of Cluny. The trail immerses you in medieval history while allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
Your walk ends in Cluny, a historic town famous for its Benedictine abbey, once one of the largest and most influential in the medieval West. Take the time to visit Cluny Abbey, its gardens and museums to soak up the local history and culture.
