Between Loire and forest - The Bertranges by bike

From La Charité-sur-Loire, explore the treasures of the Charité hinterland, along the Bertranges forest massif. Discover the Chazué pond and a beautiful medieval garden. Stop off at Raveau, then continue on through fields and valleys offering lovely views. At Grand Soury, admire the Tigran chapel, a jewel of Armenian architecture. Pass through Chaulgnes, then at Le Chazeau, discover the Bourg d'Oiseau wine estate and its chocolate factory. After a few pedal strokes, take a break at the Romanesque church of Champvoux (visit on request). Finish your ride through the countryside at Maison Fort, a 16th-century fortified farmhouse.
