Let's go for a little bike ride, with this loop of barely one kilometre (round trip), on the roads of the small village of Saint-Thibault, in the heart of the Auxois. This village is best known for its church and its gothic choir. It was, in fact, a former priory which later housed the relics of Saint-Thibault. The building was transformed to house these relics and one can now discover an interesting gothic choir, woodwork and a carved wooden altarpiece recounting the life of Saint-Thibault, from whom the village takes its name.
Don't forget to finish your visit by seeing the north portal, which reflects Burgundian sculptural activity in the Middle Ages. If you wish to continue your walk, the "Under the gaze of Myard" loop passes through Saint-Thibault. This will allow you, among other things, to visit the town of Vitteaux or to take a tour of the Myard camp, an ancient fortified settlement dating from the Neolithic period.
