This loop takes in the high points of the Brionnais region, dominated by hedged farmland, livestock meadows and scattered, unobtrusive rural settlements, including a sumptuous cirque-like panorama overlooking the hamlets of Chuin and Tréval in the distance. The path crosses the woods, with regular breaks allowing you to discover the hedged valley. At the Briant viewpoint indicator, marvel at the panoramic view from the high point, taking in dozens of kilometres of Brionnais and Charolais hedged farmland, the Loire plain and the Morvan and Beaujolais mountains. On the return journey to Saint-Christophe-en-Brionnais, you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the countryside.
The signposting is currently being put in place and will probably be completed by the end of October.
