Around the Clos de Vougeot

Welcome to Vougeot, in the Côte de Nuits. The Côte de Nuits... what does that mean? In Burgundy, when we say that we are "on the Côte", it is not a question of beach and sea... or else of an ocean of vines. In fact, here, the Coast is "the mountain"! A small mountain, of course, but that's how the Burgundians call the hillsides that stretch from Dijon to the Maranges and are covered with the most refined grapes in the world.

The winegrowers are proud and happy to help you discover their trade and their terroirs. The landscapes you will cross require a lot of care and attention throughout the year. For your safety and to ensure a good cohabitation, be vigilant near the machines you will pass and respectful towards the people you will meet and who work in the vineyards.
