The town of Saint-Vallier grew as a result of mining in the 19th century. During the 1920s, the town welcomed a wave of Polish immigrants, necessitating the construction of mining housing estates. Today, Polish culture is still present in the town through various associations and exchanges, particularly at secondary school level. Discover Saint-Vallier through its wooded and hedged landscapes.
