We’ve got some great news, Lonely Planet has listed our beautiful region of Burgundy in the TOP 10 regions to explore in the world in 2022!
Burgundy was selected for its famous cuisine and world-renowned wines, as well as the beautiful natural scenery.
The Cité internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin in Dijon and the Cité des Vins et des Climats de Bourgogne which will be opening in 2022 obviously played a part in convincing the jury, who are used to seeing some rather spectacular sights.
Burgundy features alongside some magnificent destinations such as the Westfjords region of Iceland, West Virginia in the USA and Shikoku island in Japan, to name but a few.
