Esacapade Gourmande – Le Canal du Nivernais à vélo de Loire en Seine

Day 1: Decize - Chatillon-en-Bazois (52km - level 1/4 - 4h)
Meeting point around 9am at La Maison du Vélo in Auxerre.
Welcome, check and adjust your equipment.
Transfer to the start of your tour (departure at 10am): Decize.
Departure of the stage from Decize, on the way, you will have the leisure to discover the meadows dotted with peaceful white oxen and the small heritage.
Night in Chatillon-en-Bazois (bed and breakfast)

Day 2: Chatillon-en-Bazois - Corbigny (32km - level 1/4 - 2h30)
Stage to the bief de partage, the high point of the Canal du Nivernais.
You will be charmed by the Baye and Vaux ponds and the Collancelle vaults.
Then the descent over the Echelle de Sardy will bring you to the end of your stage: Corbigny.
Night in Corbigny (hotel**)

Day 3: Corbigny - Clamecy (40km - level 1/4 - 3h)
During the stage, passage through the Tannaysien vineyards.
Along the canal or by small road to reach Clamecy, stronghold of the timber rafting.

Day 4: Clamecy - Mailly-le-château (32 to 50km - level 1/4 - 2h30)
Throughout this stage, you will cross the remains of a coral reef: to reach Mailly-le-Château.

Day 5: Mailly-le-Château - Auxerre (35 km - level 1/4 - 2h30)
You will leave Mailly-le-Château for the oenological stage of your stay: Crémant de Bourgogne and pinot noir on the agenda!
After visits and tastings, it will be time to glide along the Yonne towards Auxerre: the northern gateway to the Nivernais Canal. Already!
A visit to the old town is a must.
Return of the equipment at the end of the day.
