Located in the heart of the village of Larochemillay, in the Morvan Regional Natural Park, 20 km from the spa of Saint-Honoré les Bains, near the GR 13 and Mont Beuvray, the communal gîte d'étape is happy to welcome you from April 1st to December 31st included.
Formerly a 19th century manager's house, this building was once reserved for employees of the Château de La Roche. From 1942 until the years following the end of the war, it housed the offices of SOCOCAR, a company that manufactured charcoal. And today, for our greatest pleasure, it has been converted into a communal gîte d'étape. With a capacity of 20 beds, the gîte d'étape et de séjour, referenced Gite de France n°578 with 3 ears of corn, has the possibility to welcome people with reduced mobility (a room on the ground floor with WC and washbasin)
Ground floor: A kitchen with a cooker, two fridges, a microwave, cooking equipment, two coffee machines and an electric kettle, crockery for 20 people, a large dining room with television, a bedroom accessible to people with reduced mobility (1 single bed and a shower area, washbasin), a WC, accessible to people with reduced mobility
First floor: A room with 6 single beds (Room n°6), A room with 3 single beds (Room n°5), A room with 2 single beds and 1 double bed (140 cm) (Room n°4), A bathroom with 2 showers, 4 washbasins and 2 toilets
Second floor: A room with 4 single beds (room n°3), A room with 1 single bed and 1 double bed of 120 cm (room n°2), A bathroom with a shower, 3 sinks and a toilet.
