In the charming wine-growing village of Coulanges la Vineuse, near Auxerre and 1h30mn from Paris by train, the gîte "un temps pour soi" welcomes you all year round for convivial moments with family or friends.
Whether you're a keen hiker, mountain biker or gourmet, a wine enthusiast or simply looking for some peace and quiet, you'll love this gîte, nestling at the foot of the hiking trails. With its enclosed garden planted with trees and views of the countryside and cherry trees, it's the ideal place to disconnect from everyday life and recharge your batteries. The house has been completely restored while retaining the authentic charm of the beams and stonework.
It is fully equipped to offer you all modern comforts: induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, clothes steamer, fan, etc. On the ground floor: a large, bright living room with fitted kitchen, flexible lounge and large-screen TV, a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
You'll be delighted to gather around the large farmhouse table or the wood-burning stove for cosy moments. A reading corner and board games are also available. Upstairs: a comfortable sleeping area with 2 communicating bedrooms under the roof, including 1 bedroom on the landing, each with 2 single beds. In the garden, there are various rest areas for a siesta or a reading break in the shade of the trees.
For the more active, there's a table tennis table. Garden furniture and an electric barbecue/plancha complete the outdoor layout, as does a covered terrace for extra relaxation. Mountain bikers can store their bikes in a sheltered area, and an outdoor hose is available for cleaning equipment. The gîte is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Self-service electric bike hire available in the courtyard of the town hall, with drop-off and recharging stations throughout the Auxerrois area. Indoor parking for vehicles.

The village has been awarded the "Cités de caractère" label. Take a stroll through the village and admire the vestiges of the past.
At the end of March or beginning of April, you can admire the spectacle of the cherry blossom. Of course, you can also visit the cellar and taste the wine, and why not visit the Musée de la vigne and its press on request. From April to October, take a trip to the Maison du Pays Coulangeois, where contemporary artists from the region exhibit their work in 4 rooms, including 2 vaulted cellars. The village also boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant, a wine bar and an ideal location for exploring the region's many attractions
Auxerre 20mn - Vézelay 40mn - Guédelon 35 mn..... Shops are 4 km away, with a home delivery service available. If you arrive by train, Auxerre station is 15 km away, with car hire available. You'll also benefit from an all-inclusive package to make the most of your stay.

Bed and household linen, towels, end-of-stay cleaning, heating, cleaning products and basic kitchen products. Cot, high chair and safety gate available on request. The sofa bed in the living room (120 cm bed) can accommodate one or two extra people for €15 per extra person.
